A day to connect, recharge, and grow together.
Presented by Illuminate Her Path, IT'S YOGA, and Katherine Kennedy — Speaking to What Matters
For our September 7th retreat, we're encouraging daughters who are currently in 9th and 10th grade to enroll with their mothers.
This special retreat is for mothers and daughters who want to spend meaningful time together in a relaxed, nurturing environment.
Come as you are and enjoy a day of connection, reflection, and shared memories.
Whether you're looking to deepen your connection, share in movement, reflect together, or simply enjoy a beautiful day away, this gathering offers a supportive space to slow down and celebrate your relationship. No prior experience with yoga or retreats is needed.
You'll walk away from this day feeling closer and more connected to who you are — and to each other.
No experience needed — gentle, welcoming movement together.
Guided moments designed to bring you closer together.
A beautiful spread to share and savor together.
Time in nature to slow down and reflect side by side.
A day designed to help you feel closer to each other.
Katherine Kennedy is a storytelling coach, writer, and retreat facilitator who helps people connect with their truth and share it with courage. Her work blends writing, reflection, and meaningful connection, rooted in the belief that our stories have the power to transform us and deepen our relationships. Before storytelling, she spent decades mentoring students and leaders as Executive Director at Summer Search, a national nonprofit serving first-generation youth — where she saw firsthand how owning one's story builds confidence and strengthens bonds. In 2023, she published Speaking to What Matters, a personal exploration of voice and authenticity.
At the Mother & Daughter Retreat, Katherine will guide mothers and daughters through reflection and storytelling practices designed to help them slow down, listen deeply, and discover what's waiting to be shared between them.
Michelle Wing is the founder of It's Yoga Kids, a yoga and mindfulness system she's been teaching since 2005. A former Disney dancer and ex-Microsoft professional turned yogini and entrepreneur, she's logged over 20,000 teaching hours in movement, mindfulness, and meditation, and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT, RPYT, RCYT) with Yoga Alliance.
Michelle's mission is simple: make yoga and mindfulness accessible enough to help every child — and the adults who love them — feel healthier and happier. At the Mother & Daughter Retreat, she'll guide the day's yoga and movement, creating a welcoming space for every body and every experience level to connect through breath and motion.
Registration and pricing for this gathering are handled directly through Katherine Kennedy's site.
